Eddy Ho

Built on Great Taste & Fun

A family owned and operated restaurant for nearly 30 years.

The legacy of Domo 77 began in 1977 with Eddy Ho, newly immigrated with dreams of opening this own restaurant.

In 1980, this dream was realized with the opening of Japan 77 Steak House in Glendale Heights, IL. People in the area quickly fell in love with the entertaining show and great tasting food.

In 1989, Eddy opened his second restaurant, Domo 77 in Wheaton, and it quickly became popular. It was here that Eddy developed and added his infamous French Garlic sauce to his shrimp and lobster entrees, and later added a sushi bar to complement the tepanyaki dining experience.

Always wanting to open a third restaurant in the Naperville area, Eddy finally seized the opportunity and opened Domo 77 in Aurora, on Route 34 near 59 in March of 2007. This is his largest restaurant boasting 26 tables, a full sushi bar, wood floors, high ceilings, and a unique bar experience.

As he rounds out his restaurant career with three successful restaurants, he spends his time honing his sauces, developing new ideas and devoting time to helping others in education through scholarships and donations.

High quality, food and friendly service to his customers have been his main purpose and will continue to strive to deliver.
